ABOUT THE ALAMEDA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICEThe Alameda County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) for its law enforcement services, its Regional Training Center, and its Dispatch Unit; the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors Laboratory Accreditation Board for its Crime Lab; the Bomb Squad Commanders Advisory Board for its Explosive Ordinance Unit. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EITHER IExperience:The equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in the class of Accountant-Auditor in the Alameda County classified service.OR II � Experience:The equivalent of four (4) years full-time increasingly responsible professional accounting, auditing or administrative experience which included significant accounting/fiscal duties and responsibilities. � Substitution: � Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in accounting, finance or other closely related field may be substituted for three years of the required experience. � � ��NOTE:����The Civil Service Commission may modify the above Minimum Qualifications in the announcement of an examination.
