SUMMARY
An Assistant Store Manager will assistant the Store Director in establishing and maintaining good customer service, oversees and is accountable for the operation of their store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory control, expense control, human resources management and managing operating costs and shrink.

Assistant with the following Responsibilities:

• Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
• Control shrink, expenses, and payroll
• Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; signing and assortment in all departments; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.
• Be aware of competition activities and report results; share information with supervisor and make appropriate price recommendations
• Review department/store trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with all laws, policies, and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk though, and audits, etc. Act as NFI’s representative both within the store and within the community.
• Continually evaluate and react to performance issues
• Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations
• Schedules the associates to ensure proper coverage of daily operations

Compensation:

BOE. FT, Salaried position with benefits that include annual wage and performance reviews, medical, dental, prescription and life insurance. We have paid holidays, vacations. Our retirement benefits include profit sharing, ESOP and 401K.
