Countryside Animal Clinic is Hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician Near Kimmell, IN

Registered Veterinary Technician needed for a busy mixed animal practice in rural Kimmell, Indiana. We are adding a new doctor in June and are needing to add to our team!! We are looking for candidates with a strong veterinary background and experience as a veterinary technician. Candidate must be self-motivated, professional, and a friendly individual to join our team. Must also be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, problem solve independently, and pay close attention to detail. This position is full time. It does include working some Saturday mornings. Prefer minimum 2 years of experience and RVT license.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Phlebotomy, catheter placement, digital radiology, dentistry, laboratory work, pharmacy duties, anesthesia monitoring, patient recovery, care for hospitalized patients, medication administration,surgical prep, assisting, proper restraint techniques, client education, communication with veterinarian, staff, and clients.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
