Country Home Bakers, a division of J&J Snack Foods Corp., is looking for Production Helpers on all shifts to help ensure the accuracy of the production in various stages of manufacturing and the packaging process.

Responsibilities:

• Check Metal Detector for metal hits within product
• Check and verify codes on boxing/packaging
• Check and verify labels
• Relive Operators for breaks
• Pull samples for QA Bake-off
• Load and fix jams on the case erectors
• Check dough temperatures on frozen product to ensure specifications
• Help with packaging, inspecting and sliding of product.
• Sweep, clean and general housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Work requires a high school level of knowledge in order to perform calculations, prepare reports, keep records and/or deal effectively with people.
• One or more years of bakery experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read measurements and take accurate temperature readings utilizing a thermometer. May be required to gather and interpret data.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently.
