Council On Foreign Relations is Hiring a Senior Product Manager Near New York, NY
Overview
CFR Digital Services is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our award-winning team. Reporting to the Director of Product, this role will closely work with users, stakeholders, and leadership to research, define, develop, and contribute to the roadmap for CFR.org. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with an interdisciplinary technology team to shepherd CFR products to ensure alignment across strategies and goals.
The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):
- Define product goals, requirements, and measures of success through artifacts such as product briefs and epics / user stories
- Iteratively drive to deliver user value and meet organizational needs through feedback loops, iteration, and experimentation
- Contribute to the product roadmap and assist with communicating its projects and priorities
- Engage, liaise, and build positive and productive partnerships with internal staff
- Guide interdisciplinary teams through ideation, design, development, launch, and iteration
- Advocate for product maintenance activities and limit technical debt
- Stay current with trends in technology and media to guide the direction of future efforts
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in digital product management
- Deep familiarity with Agile methodology and the Agile development life cycle
- Proven track record getting products from ideation, through construction, to usage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with user research and/or design thinking a plus
- Experience with Drupal a plus
- Experience with Jira and Confluence a plus
- Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA or higher a plus
- Experience with nonprofit, media, think tank, or educational organizations a plus
Pay Range
$110,000 to $130,000 per year
Pay commensurate with experience and education
