Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. The Food Preparer will work onsite at EWR Airport.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handles pork, poultry, meat and fish products
• Assembles equipment and food components according to airline specifications following procedures and assembly diagrams.
• Keeps production areas in compliance with sanitation standards and customer requirements.
• Delivers correct prepared food from the kitchen to the correct location in an efficient and professional manner

Qualifications

• May work in a cold room of 40 degrees or less for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift.
• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8 hours.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
• Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
