Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. The Dishwasher will work onsite at EWR Airport.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and organizes all kitchen and restaurant areas, including walk-in coolers, freezers, storage areas, floors, brass and stainless steel according to MCA specifications.
• Transports dirty dishes to the dish room and transports clean dishes back to assigned areas.
• Determines when guests have completed their meals and removes dirty dishes, flatware and napkins.
• Sets up, runs, and empties dish machine, as well as cleans, sanitizes, and de-limes dish machine.
• Scrubs all pots, pans and trays in proper 3-bowl sink set up.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and exert fast paced mobility for entire shift
• Ability to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
