Job Summary:

As a Regional Nurse Consultant at Cottonwood Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Continuing Education: Commit to self-improvement and maintain high standards of care and professionalism through ongoing education and peer support.
• Essential Job Functions: You will be involved in various aspects of resident care, including assessment, care plan development, delivery of care, facility support, supervision, and customer service.
• Residents' Well-being: Uphold residents' rights, safety, and comfort as a top priority while demonstrating proficiency in pharmacy knowledge, lab values, and infection control.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of practice.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Director of Nursing and Nurse Consultant.
• PointClickCare EMR experience highly preferred.
• Recent clinical experience or specialized skills in geriatrics.
• A commitment to ongoing Continuing Education Credits in clinical subjects, management, and personal growth.
• Proficiency in infection control principles and practices.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical procedures and long-term care regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary care team.
• Effective organizational skills and the ability to develop and interpret policies and procedures.
• An innovative mindset to incorporate new methods and principles into nursing practices.
• Excellent communication skills, fostering positive relationships with staff, residents, and families.
