Job DescriptionEducation/Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in construction related field; or ten years minimum related experience in the construction industry.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
Ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software.
Special Skills:
Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties.
Knowledgeable in Mechanical / Electrical estimating.
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Professional demeanor.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the administration and management of multiple projects occurring concurrently starting from early project initiation phase through the completion and warranty phases.
Assist in the review and negotiation of various contract agreements including GMP proposals.
Assist in the completion of monthly budget updates for planning, design, construction, and close-out projects including integration of accounting data, planned costs, and tracking of change items.
Assist in the development of cost estimates for short- and long-range cost planning.
Assist in programmatic cost analysis and budgeting forecasts.
Coordinate cost estimating for planning purposes.
Maintain historical cost data.
Assist in the completion of various reporting types.
Reporting to executive members.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Ability to support Project Managers to oversee budget and schedule related deliverables.
Involvement in development and maintenance of master schedule reporting structures.
Assist in the development and maintenance of database software.
Work Availability:
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by management.
Must be available and willing to work weekends and/or holidays as the employer determines necessary or desirable to meet requirements.
