CorTech International is partnered with a nationwide equipment rental company, immediately hiring yard/equipment worker. Ideal candidate will perform a variety of manual tasks in the rental yard in support of the entire branch operation. The primary objective is to provide labor assistance to mechanics, sales staff, and other branch personnel in order to meet the needs of customers. This could be an entry level position, for someone who wants to get their foot in the door and find a long term position. All positions are contract to hire, screening and starting ASAP

Essential Duties:
Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to branch
Report machine condition to Counter Person/Service Manager for appropriate billing of customer Inspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working order.
Clean all equipment and maintain a clean work area
Load and unload rental equipment, and prepare equipment for rental Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers as well as drive a delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment
Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries
Working Conditions:
 Activities requiring handling and grasping with the hands when performing repairs or maintenance of equipment by utilizing hand tools, power tools, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls, and other small parts.
 Occasional use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal on equipment to test operation
 Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and seldom lifting up to 75 lbs.
 Exposure to bright light, extreme temperature, loud noise, dust, gas, or fumes
 Occasional working at heights above 10 ft.
 Ability to wear a respirator and/or hearing protection as required
 Ability to bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for prolonged periods of time
 Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours per day
 Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day
