Job Title: Training Specialist
schedule – Friday, 8a – 5p Overtime required
Quick description of the role or project story (What this role will be doing):
Our team is dedicated to the development of our customer service colleagues, preparing them to deliver an outstanding customer experience on behalf of Client. This role is responsible for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of instruction and learning for our Customer Service workforce. Position requires knowledge and use of systematic instructional design methods such as: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Develops instructional/learning materials that meet identified training and business objectives and comply with best in class training industry development standards. Maintain expertise as an instructional technologist. Facilitate training sessions as needed.
Skill sets (technical/functional):
Full knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design, technology
Skilled with instructional design tools, multimedia development (ex: video, audio, etc) and CBT software
Determine the appropriate blend of instructor-led, self-directed, and/or experiential training to be used in a given solution
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to process information and questions quickly and develop answers
Skill:
Ability to train and lead others
Develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders across Client and our third-party vendor to ensure alignment in training and development content/programs and business objectives
Project management and organizational skills
Work with business partn3rs and SMEs to identify new training and development needs
Soft skill:
Communication (verbal)
Open-minded to new ways of thinking
Foster a collaborative environment / works well with others
education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
