Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator, under general supervision, is responsible for operating a gas or electric-powered forklift truck to move, stack, load, or unload materials, parts, and finished goods.
Essential Job Duties:
- Loads/unloads trucks.
- Uses a pallet jack to move pallets around the production area, stages packaging materials on the production line, and occasionally load packaging conveyors with individual cases of product.
- Accesses Oracle and enters information.
- Supports and participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain).
- Must be able to a minimum of 65 lbs. consistently.
- May perform other duties as required.
