DESCRIPTION
Unit: Medical ICU Specialty: ICU Location: Mercy Lincoln (1000 E Cherry Street Troy MO, 63379) Community/Campus: East Shift Nights: 3x12 (36 hours) Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
General Comments
** FLU & COVID-19: All travelers mush be fully vaccinated prior to start. There are no exceptions. **
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.
Licensure: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit. Experience: Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. Must have a current ACLS card or complete an ACLS course in 12 months -
Other: Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Stand and walk most of the time on duty. Meet unit specific physical demands. Significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance. May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequency according to patient care requirements. High risk exposure to blood and body fluids. Physical demands are push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
Experience: 1 years, Critical - required. Certifications: BLS-required, ACLS-required.
