Shift: 8:00:00 AM - 5:00:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Can be flexible on hours (7am - 4pm / 8am - 5pm) 1/2 hour or 1 hour lunch
3-6 month contract
Entry level candidates will definitely be considered
This is on-site work in a laboratory.
An ideal candidate would be someone pursuing either chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering. Other areas of interest would be material science or wood science will also be considered.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Research and develop laboratory simulations of process conditions to test materials and improvements in a laboratory setting.
2. Conduct laboratory and pilot plant trials of manufacturing processes to support new products and/or research process improvements.
3. Conduct property and performance testing of doors and components produced during process trials. Analyze and present the data in team meetings.
4. Support the scale-up of new processes in manufacturing plants.
