CorTech is seeking to hire a Quality Assurance Inspector for our client in Greenville, AL!
Pay rate: 15.50
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BLUEPRINT CALIPER!!**
Basic Purpose Thorough Quality Assurance Inspector ensuring cost-effective quality assurance procedures designed to maintain optimal customer satisfaction and boost over all productivity. Maintain and update quality inspector records. Communicate visual and dimensional product quality standards to line operators. Performing 8 to 10 machine inspections per shift.
Requirements:Must Make Continuous Inspections Throughout His/ Her Shift. Inspectors should insure that 8hr shift will equal 5 to 7 inspections per machine. 10hr shift will equal 6 to 9 inspections per machine. Ifless than 6 inspections within an 10hr shift must have an explanation written by QC and the shift supervisor. QC inspector will inspect parts for setup release. Each setup must be signed off by QC before a setup can be released. QC inspector must fill out the setup inspection sheet according to the blueprint.
Secondary inspections will coincide with primary machine inspections and follow the same guidelines.
Employees placed on Quality Alert will be monitored extensively by the QC inspector. Inspector will recommend and release personnel from Quality Alert.
QC inspectors will ensure that bar-ends are accounted for and make certain that the parts are ran correctly.
QC inspectors will ensure that parts meet blueprint specification after cutting tool change is made.
QC inspector must make sure all drums and trays that have been tagged as quality hold are placed in the quality holding area at the end of his or her shift. Make a list of all quality problems found at the end of his or her shift to be written on the production board. QC will ensure that the parts in this area are attended to and shipped as soon as possible. Is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work area.
QC inspectors will sort parts when time is available (multiple setups and or lack of operators during a shift).
QC inspector must ensure that the Quality Control Sheets are filled out by the operator (s) in a correctly manner. This assessment must be signed off on the daily green sheets by the QC inspector.
All nonconforming parts found must have Quality Hold Sheet filled out and inserted into the drum or tray and moved to Quality Hold Area.. Each quality hold sheet requires a Corrective Action Report to be filled out for either 1st shift or 2nd shift.
All nonconforming parts, either found by the inspector or returned from the customer must have a Corrective Action Report filled out and turned in no matter how minor the infraction. Must turn the form into the supervisor of his or her shift to be filled out and returned to the QC inspector. First shift problems will be handled by the QC inspector of that shift.
QC inspectors will coordinate with his or her shift supervisor and the operations manager on quality issues. Every nonconforming part found will be issued a Corrective Action Report.
Supervisor are not authorized to recommend an operator from being issued a Corrective Action Report.
QC inspector has the authority to shut down the machine if parts do not meet the blueprint dimensions. The problem must be addressed or the shift supervisor will fill out the Supervisors Quality Approval Form.
QC inspector will collaborate with the shift supervisor and the operations manager when nonconforming parts are returned from the customer.
QC inspector will recommend and release personnel from Quality Alert
