Reports to: Store Manager

Job Overview:  

Responsible for customer satisfaction through positive and effective communication with customers, as well as the efficient operation of the store. Responsible for providing the Store Manager with the help that he or she requires to keep it in top running order.

Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to:

• Coach and support other team members
• Train new employees
• Maintain and monitor store inventory
• Ensure that the store is safe, clean, and presentable for customers
• Process daily paperwork and deposit store monies in bank on Store Manager’s days off
• Ability to operate cash register, computer, facsimile, adding machine, and other basic office machines
• Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 40 degrees for up to 30 minutes
• Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or hazmat situation
• Follows company quality, safety, and environmental guidelines
• Ability to occasionally work alone

Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Must pass background screenings
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must possess strong leadership, management, team-building, and communication skills
