Corrigan Krause is currently assisting with their Client, Bluestone Trading Company, in the search for an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for overseeing company financials, including managing AR/AP, recording financial transactions, and more. As the Accounting Clerk, you will be expected to develop and maintain new processes for streamlining workflows. The position is Monday-Friday, with flexible scheduling and availability for a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings including timely reports.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper authorization and recording of expenditures in the general ledger system.
• Process payments & manage Accounts Receivables/Accounts Payable, including communicating with clients and vendors.
• Issues payments for new purchases via check, e-check, wire transfer
• Reconcile invoicing, bank accounts, etc.
• Compiles tax and sales tax payments and maintains records
• Prepare financial statements and meet with accountant monthly
• Other responsibilities as required and necessary

Requirements

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or similar, Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years of Bookkeeping experience
• 1-2 years of experience in the jewelry industry preferred
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast paced environment
