Job Description
The backbone of any organization is a team that is dedicated to keeping things in order. Our valued maintenance teams keep things running, our business in motion, and our customers successful. An excellent Lead maintenance Technician must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. They will be responsible for ensuring prompt customer service to all maintenance repair requests, must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical certified, HVAC certified, etc. Leadership and knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling are essential. The lead is responsible for all preventative maintenance inspections as well. We have high standards for safety, stability, and training to ensure our people are safe and that our business is always running at top performance.
Responsibilities
· Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
· Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
· Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
· Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
· Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
· Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
· Perform HVAC repairs as needed.
· Supervise subcontractors working at the property.
· Train and supervise subordinate employees.
Skills
Proven 5 years of HVAC experience
HVAC Certified
Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating, plumbing, mechanical, etc.)
5 years of Maintenance Supervisor Experience
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push, or pull over 25lbs repeatedly.
Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
Valid Driver's License
Basic tools required, to include personal smart phone technology.
Understanding of budgeting and performance management
Excellent planning and leadership abilities
An eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
