SVP Operations, Airlines What We NeedCorpay^ is currently looking to hire a Senior Vice President, Operations within our Lodging division. This position falls under our Airline line of business and is located in Miami. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various operational aspects to ensure the efficient functioning and growth of the company. You will report directly to the Group President, Lodging Payments and regularly collaborate with the Lodging and Airline senior leadership teams. How We WorkAs a Senior Vice President, Operations you will be expected to work in an office environment. CORPAY^ will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in MiamiCompany-issued equipment Role ResponsibilitiesOperational Excellence and Process Improvement: Driving a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation throughout the organization.Identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization in business processes and workflows, and implement solutions to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.Risk Management and Compliance: Assessing operational risks and compliance requirements related to data security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property protection.Developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborating with key executives to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that drive the company's growth and expansion.Defining operational goals, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with the company's overall objectives.Operational Management: Overseeing all operational functions of the company, including customer support, account management, billing, finance and other key areas.Implementing processes, systems, and tools to optimize efficiency, productivity, and collaboration across departments.Sales and Marketing Strategy: Partnering with the key stakeholders and marketing leaders to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.Identifying target markets, customer segments, and go-to-market approaches to maximize market penetration and competitive advantage.Customer Success and Support: Leading efforts to deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.Establishing processes and resources for effective customer support, onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement.Financial Management and Planning: Managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.Monitoring key financial metrics, such as revenue, profitability, and cash flow, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.Partnership and Alliance Management: Identifying and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and channel relationships that complement the company's offerings and extend its market reach.Negotiating and manage partnerships agreements, joint ventures, and reseller arrangements to drive mutual success.Executive Leadership and Team Development: Providing strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to department heads and staff members, fostering a culture of accountability, empowerment, and professional growth.Recruiting, retaining, and developing top talent, building high-performing teams that are aligned with the company's vision, values, and goals.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field or equivalent experienceMBA preferredExperience: Extensive experience in the aviation industry, with a proven track record of leadership and operational management.Experience in managing complex operational functions such as flight operations, ground operations and regulatory compliance.Strong understanding of aviation regulations and industry best practices.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence and organizational goals.Ability to provide strategic direction and execute operational plans in alignment with the company's mission and vision.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Operational Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of aviation operations, including flight planning, scheduling, dispatch, and crew managementExperience in implementing operational best practices, process improvements, and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and safety.Proven ability to manage operational risks, crisis situationsFinancial Acumen: Strong financial management skills with the ability to develop and manage operational budgets, forecast financial performance, and optimize resource allocation.Experience in revenue management, cost control, and profitability analysis to drive financial sustainability and growth.Industry Knowledge and Networking: Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics within the aviation sector.Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, industry associations, suppliers, and customers.Global Perspective: Experience working in a global aviation environment with an understanding of international markets, geopolitical factors, and cultural nuances that impact aviation operations.Innovative Thinking:Ability to drive innovation and adapt to technological advancements, market
