What are we looking for?

We are a fast-growing SaaS company that is changing the way communities in the financial sector work together. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Web Platform team, responsible for developing both customer-facing and internal systems that span the entire breadth of CorpAxe's product line.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment and possesses robust technical skills in frontend development, along with a solid understanding of APIs, systems, and backend technologies.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the web platform team, you can expect to:

• Participate in the development, planning, architecture, and design of client-facing and internal web applications, with a focus on performance, usability and accessibility.
• Work with a broad range of technologies with a focus on the web and frontend, contribute to all parts of the stack and platform.
• Collaborate with other engineers, PMs, designers and other groups within the organization in a remote-first environment.
• Be involved in projects from the requirement phase all the way to production, including helping flesh out the roadmap with the team’s Technical Lead and stakeholders.
• Raise the bar on engineering standards, testing practices and documentation, while mentoring and sharing learnings with the rest of the team.

Who You Are:

• 6-8 years of work experience in software engineering roles, primarily working with frontend technologies.
• You have strong frontend development experience with modern technologies. We use TypeScript, React, Remix and Tailwind, but related expertise can be just as valuable.
• Have a good understanding of application and system design, and can contribute to infrastructure, devops and backend APIs in a pinch.
• Have empathy about users of the applications and cares about building experiences that focus on them.
• Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment, where you’ll spend as much time discussing and documenting ideas as you will implementing them.
• Comfort working in a PC and Windows environment. We use WSL2. This is a hard requirement for this role.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $150k - $195k / year
• Other Compensation: Additional compensation includes annual discretionary bonus
