Job Summary:
As a Custodian at Cornhusker Auto Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas, including showrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas, are kept clean and presentable at all times. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.
 

Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout the dealership.
2. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, on a regular basis.
3. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and procedures.
4. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed.
5. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned, such as deep cleaning carpets, windows, or upholstery.
6. Maintain outdoor areas, including parking lots and sidewalks, by removing debris and keeping walkways clear.
7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless cleaning process and timely completion of tasks.
8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
9. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
10. Uphold the company's standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
