Openings in Upper Elementary, Middle School, High School, and Transition Age Classrooms.

• Ensures confidentiality in regard to all student information.
• Supports the social/emotional and educational development of students.
• Assists with routine classroom clerical and maintenance activities..
• Support student in activities of daily living
• Work collaboratively with a larger, multi-disciplinary team to support student progress toward IEP goals
• Collect relevant data under the supervision of a highly qualified teacher
• Implements inclusive activities, and teacher-planned lessons as directed by the Special Education teacher.
• Communicates student issues and concerns to teacher/team members.
• Maintains a professional attitude and relationship with all staff.
• Demonstrates a commitment to professional growth, and attends professional development opportunities as required.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Demonstrate and model at all times expected professional behavior in the classroom and in the community
• Demonstrate the ability to work as a member of an educational team.
• Demonstrate universal precaution, proper lifting, changing and feeding techniques on an on-going basis.
