Kitchen Manger and Closing Supervisor
At Corkys BBQ we are all about southern hospitality. We have been serving middle Tennessee for 30 years and want you to be a part of our award winning team. We slow smoke our BBQ and make sides for scratch here so you can be proud of the product you sell. We have several positions available in our BOH department and they are available in part time and full time as well as day and night shifts. Weekend availability is required but your quality of life and time with the family are a top priority for us.
Your goal will be to become the Lead Cook and be responsible for the PM kitchen operations
You will function in various positions as business requires during the shift
-Drive Thru Cook
-Grill Cook
-Fry Cook
-Lobby Board
Each of these positions require menu knowledge, ability to interact and lead our kitchen crew in a positive manner, reading and production of orders, light prep work, cleaning of work stations, ability to work in a safe manner.
This level of cook must be able to work in parallel with the management team to run the kitchen. Your skillsets should build weekly and you should be aware of ongoing catering events as well as projects in the kitchen. An open availability is required for this position and regularly scheduled overtime is an option.
As you grow you will be offered additional responsibilities of other positions in our FOH. Learning guest services, food packaging as well as collecting and counting cash drawers at the end of the night.
This position makes anywhere from $50,000-60,000 annually with the ability to grow.
42-50hrs a week - 5 Days a week
This job requires previous supervisor experience and consistent work history.
