The Coriell Institute for Medical Research is seeking a salesperson to join our sales team. This individual will work closely with the key stakeholders in growing Coriell Institute’s commercial portfolio. Of key importance, this role will be responsible for expanding commercial product and service offerings to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector.

Commercial Focus

The Sales Associate will be responsible for a broad range of sales activities including:

· Customer prospecting and opportunity development

· Effectively developing and selling the Institute’s capabilities and diverse service offerings

· Development and execution of customer account plans

· Working with Coriell Institute’s internal stakeholders to develop best practices for customer management

· Initiating and conducting face-to-face meetings with clients

· Establishing and growing customer relationships, on both existing and new accounts

· Setting, managing, and maintaining customer expectations

· Achieving sales plans and targets for key accounts

· Organizing and executing compelling client presentations

· Facilitating proposal development and delivery, ensuring customer needs are addressed

The ideal candidate for this role will have relevant experience. An educational background in a related scientific discipline is a plus. Compensation includes a base salary along with a sales-driven incentive bonus plan.

The Sales Associate will be required to travel roughly 40% of the time to client sites and meetings. The ability to work independently, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under multiple deadlines are all required for this role.
