Corewell Health Corporate is Hiring an Internship, UX Design Near Grand Rapids, MI

Job Summary

This is a full-time virtual summer 2023 Digital Services internship.

The successful candidate in this role will join the Corewell Health Digital Experience UX Design team for the summer of 2023. We are a multi-disciplinary group of UX designers, visual designers, and researchers. We work with business and marketing partners across the enterprise to build best-in-class digital experiences for our users.
Our UX mission is driven by looking through our consumers’ eyes, which makes it a great place to practice user-centered design. Our purpose is designing tools and experiences that enable our consumers to achieve their health goals.

Through projects such as designing a new Find a Doctor experience, conducting consumer usability research, and the gathering of digital assets, this role provides an excellent opportunity to supplement and grow your current UX Design experience.

Essential Functions
  • Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.
  • Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.
  • May analyzes department processes and other Spectrum Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements, as appropriate. Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.
  • Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
Qualifications
  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in area of accountability. May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.

Additional Recommended Experience

  • Experience working with Figma

  • Experience tracking work in Jira and/or Trello

  • Experience in graphic or interaction design
