Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour
SCOPE OF WORK
To work with the Estimating and Sales Teams to secure profitable work for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Understand and analyze detailed bid specifications, schematics, and drawings.
• Track progress of multiple bids and bid results.
• Deliver accurate and timely estimates/bid proposals to sales team.
• Request for sub-contractor’s bids (erection/hauling).
• Maintain positive relations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and team members.
• Familiarity with on-line file sharing and FTP sites a plus.
• Advance blueprint reading for construction estimating.
• Thorough understanding of construction estimating.
• Some field/jobsite interaction.
Experience:
• Associates degree or higher (in a construction related field a plus).
• Must possess strong verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Work with peers in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and strong MS Office Programs.
• AutoCAD experience a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License.
