Our Opportunity:

Corenic is seeking Senior Project Manager for their operations department. In this role, the candidate will carry out the following essential duties and key responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage own projects; plan work schedule, determine project objectives, policies and procedures.
• Manage other PMs 
• Complete buyout of subcontractors and vendors.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with client, architect and/or engineer.
• Provide technical assistance with interpretation of drawings, methods and equipment needed. Represent company in project meetings.
• Assist with preparing bids and proposal submissions to clients.
• Capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects in various stages of construction for private, federal and local government clients with an estimated annual volume of up to $5M
• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices.
• Responsible for client satisfaction
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

The ideal candidate will have the following education, experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field
• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, managing and running multiple project simultaneously
• 5 years of experience managing other project managers/staff
• Prior experience with small base buildings (i.e. condos, multi-family) up to 20k sq ft
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem solve quickly
• Excellent skills establishing rapport with clients, vendors, team members and leadership
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated experience with consistently maintaining project related paperwork
• Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Word and other construction project related software/tools
