Industrial Cleaning Technician

Position Overview:

The Porter is responsible for the cleanliness of our shop including cleaning machinery, floors, emptying metal shavings bins, driving the floor scrubber around the shop. This position will require using tools such as floor scrubber, mops, rags, and other cleaning devices. Cleaning chemicals will also be used regularly in this position. Some other facility maintenance may also be required.

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull.
• The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pound on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work follows but is not limited to the core corporate hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
