Corporate Recruiter

Position Summary:

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for leading a team of recruiting professionals, and effectively managing the recruiting program. This position will be responsible for full cycle recruiting of key positions including job postings, sourcing, thoroughly pre-screening and submitting candidates to hiring managers for review, and interview coordination.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Oversight

  • Provide leadership, overall direction, hiring, training, and coaching to team members.
  • Manage and oversee the recruiting team to assess needs and meet organizational goals.

2. Recruiting Program Management

  • Review proficiency of recruiting practices, application tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
  • Identify and implement best practice resources and sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, referrals, to attract new talent.
  • Work closely with company leadership to develop and implement effective strategies and processes.
  • Prepare and deliver regular presentations to leadership regarding status of openings, overall achievement of staffing goals, policies, practices and issues.

3. Sourcing Candidates:

  • Identifies candidates by searching and posting jobs through a wide variety of online recruiting tools.
  • Creates and posts jobs on company website, external and internal online job boards, and professional organization websites.
  • Reviews résumés and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.

4. Maintain Résumé Database and Profiles:

  • Organizes and maintains résumé database and jobs.
  • Reviews and sorts all incoming résumés.

5. Pre-Screening Candidates:

  • Provides complete and accurate information to candidates about the company and position.
  • Submits résumé and summary notes to hiring managers to determine next steps.

6. Interview Coordination:

  • Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepares candidates for interviewing by providing interview confirmation email, detailed information on the company, job description, and job application.
  • Responsible for all travel coordination for candidates.
  • Collects feedback post-interview to determine next steps.
  • Conducts professional reference checks for candidates and submits to Corporate Recruiter and hiring managers.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communication, or related field

5 years of full cycle recruiting experience, construction recruiting experience preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very perceptive and intuitive
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Professional telephone presence
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Active listening skills
  • Shows initiative and drive
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office, Salesforce and social media for recruiting purposes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
