Core Consulting is Hiring a Tech Support - Operations Lead (20554-1) Near Rapids, IA
The Operations Lead coordinates sustaining and implementation activities in unclassified Digital Technology Program Work Environments directly in support of DFARS Lab Compliance initiatives. During customer engagement sessions with stakeholders, the Operations Lead will gather DT technical requirements, perform user acceptance testing, and provide deliverables necessary to file System Security Plans and achieve Authorization to Operate, which follow our cyber security processes. Additionally, they also lead the implementation of DT technical security controls necessary to achieve DFARS compliance. Team responsibilities include the deployment and maintenance of small/medium-sized compute environments that are isolated from the production network. This role requires the contractor to work on-site when required PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Leading small teams to ensure project milestones are completed according to schedule • Creating and maintaining project documentation • Engaging directly with customers to achieve project goals • Engaging with multiple Digital Technology teams to drive tasks to completion • Leveraging multiple Digital Technology solutions, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Network Access Control (NAC), Active Directory (AD) Services, Endpoint Protection (EPP), Network Segmentation, and Vulnerability Management (VM) • Excellent customer service skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to create detailed documentation with a strong attention to detail • Ability to interact effectively in a team environment • Ability to follow instructions to produce desired results • Aptitude to multitask workloads • Ability to remain calm and courteous in challenging situations • Ability to work with a broad range of experience levels • Strong administrative and organizational skills • Ability to resolve difficult customer situations and escalate issues when appropriate • Consistent follow-through on assigned tasks • Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments in a timely manner EDUCATION: • Required: Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other applicable field and at least 3 years experience in a related field. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate should have at least 5 years med/large enterprise experience in following: • Experience working within multi-disciplined teams in a fast, dynamic environment resolving complex problems and deploying common technical solutions • Experience building trust, nurturing positive relationships and communicating effectively with key stakeholders • Strong computer literacy – including Active Directory, Windows OS (95/XP/7/10), MS-DOS and Linux (CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise, Ubuntu)
