Central State Bank has an immediate opening for an Operations Specialist/Teller Support at our Cedar Rapids location. 

Our Operations Specialists are responsible for Bank-wide operational support of our front-line customer service staff, finance, and sales support staff. Operations processes transactions and maintains the integrity and efficiency of core processing and ancillary systems. Additionally, Operations oversees the production of deposit account documentation and provides staff support by understanding deposit account servicing requirements and digital banking systems. 

The Operations Specialist position will also provide Teller support and assist our customers as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Work with core operating computer systems to process transactions and maintain records.

· Process wire transfers, automated clearing house entries, and check clearing, debit card, ATM, and mobile banking transactions.

· Perform core system report review and reconciliation of transactions.

· Process account maintenance and setup requests.

· Perform various operational duties related to regulatory compliance and documentation.

· Provide support to internal teammates and tellers on operating systems.

· Provide excellent service to new and existing customers of the Bank.

· Efficiently and accurately perform all front-line transactions per approved policies and procedures.

· Be proficient in opening and servicing a variety of deposit accounts including consumer checking and savings accounts, commercial checking and savings accounts, money market accounts, and CDs. 

Requirements

· Experience in banking, accounting, or bank operations is beneficial.

· Accuracy and attention to detail required.

· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently.
