Responsibilities
- Assist with basic day-to-day accounting and general ledger tasks
- Record financial transactions, adhering to the stringent standards of GAAP.
- Execute monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and analyses, paving the way for periodic financial book closures.
- Craft routine and monthly journal entries as required, providing comprehensive documentation
- Facilitate annual audit activities by preparing schedules, furnishing necessary documents and diligently responding to auditor queries.
- Engage actively in refining accounting processes and bolstering internal controls.
- Assist in analytical tasks tied to budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a CPA or CPA pathway is required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of corporate accounting or public accounting
