Coral Bay Club is currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our service team!

We are a full-service private country club that is currently undergoing a huge renovation set to reopen with a new building in 2025! In the meantime, we are serving our membership at our pool and beach, cabana bar, and mobile kitchen as well as evenings and events at the Carteret Community College Culinary School. Team members will get a variety of experience and every day is fun and different!

We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while being attentive, caring, and a will to give friendly proper service to our members and their families.

As a member of the Food & Beverage team you will:

• Gain knowledge in fine and casual dining service, wine service, and cocktail creations
• Learn the menus inside and out, offering recommendations and pairings
• Serve with a smile, and get to know the membership on a personal level
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Complete side duties, as assigned, such as prep work and closing duties
• Maintain a clean work environment

The preferred candidate would have previous food and beverage experience, preferably in a fine dining or private club environment, however experience is not required! In-depth training will be provided as well as continual on-the-job training throughout tenure. This is a great opportunity for professional growth and hospitality operations experience. Team members will meet and get to know influential members of the community in a fun and intimate setting.

Server/Bartender Qualification and Skills

• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
• Ability to work well under intense time pressure
• Ability to work outside in the sun and on occasion, on the beach
• Excellent emotional control in fast paced environments
• Dedication to on time arrival for shifts
• Ability to take direction and work well with a team
• Dependable transportation
• Neat well-groomed appearance
• Maintain an upscale dining atmosphere and handle guest complaints/requests quickly
• Comfort with POS software a plus (not required)
• Server/bartending experience a plus (not required)
