Candidate must be/have:

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Operate cash register and scanner, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
- Follow company processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves.
- Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, and clean restroom.
- Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
- Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
- Basic computer usage knowledge.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to perform cash register functions.
- Ability to stock merchandise
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Frequent walking and standing
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling, stock merchandise and unload trucks.
- Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as handheld scanners, box cutters, and merchandise containers.
- Frequent and proper lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Education:
- High school Diploma or G.E.D.(Preferred)
Wine, Beer, Tobacco and Spirit knowledge is helpful.
