1099 Field Inspectors

Copper Claims Services is a quickly growing independent loss adjusting firm with headquarters in Irvine, California. Copper Claims Services excels in providing custom claims solutions for Property and Casualty, Agriculture, Transportation, and High Net Worth, with an emphasis on Specialized Programs.

We are currently looking for Field Inspectors to assist with daily agriculture pre-loss inspections and claim handling throughout the State of California. Must be willing to travel throughout a large territory.

In this role, you will:

• Complete pre-loss inspections to help evaluate risk exposure and overall quality of the risk for farming operations.
• Pre-loss field investigations include onsite inspections, screening interviews, and providing detailed documentation of farm condition and specific photographs of the risk being analyzed.
• Prepare clear, concise, and timely narrative and photographic support for our clients explaining your observations on site and upload your feedback via a loss control mobile application in real time at the inspection/meeting.
• Maintain continuous and professional communication with our clients, their insureds, property owners, shareholders, etc. to ensure all are kept informed of the current inspection status.
• Successfully collaborate with farm business owners, Copper staff, and insurance clients to swiftly and accurately provide feedback based on your observations.

Qualifications:

• Ability and willingness to climb ladders, navigate small spaces, and crawl/bend to access different structures.
• Agriculture experience, including evaluation of barns, silos and heavy farm equipment a plus.
• Proficient in navigating mobile applications including uploading photographs and documents in real time/while on site.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and independently.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Displays a strong sense of urgency and is detail oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to drive to rural areas and throughout different parts of the state
• Insurance license not required for pre loss inspection work.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Physical setting:

• Outdoor work

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Fresno, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
