Job Details
As an AWS Developer , you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing core AWS services such as Lambda, schedulers, orchestration flows, and S3. You will leverage your expertise in Python or similar scripting languages to build these services from the ground up, using cloud configuration-based development principles. Additionally, you will be responsible for configuring various data sources, optimizing AWS services for performance, and deploying them using CLI tools. A key aspect of this role will be writing unit and integration tests for the components developed, preferably using pytest.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize core AWS services including Lambda, schedulers, orchestration flows, and S3.
- Implement services from the ground up using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Utilize cloud configuration-based development principles for building and deploying AWS services.
- Configure data sources such as Redshift and DynamoDB, and optimize AWS services for performance.
- Deploy AWS services using CLI tools, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes.
- Write unit and integration tests for the developed components using a compatible testing framework, preferably pytest.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of hands-on experience as an AWS Developer, with a focus on core AWS services.
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for building AWS services ground up.
- Experience with cloud configuration-based development principles vs. AWS console-based development.
- Knowledge of configuring data sources such as Redshift, DynamoDB, etc.
- Ability to optimize AWS services for performance and scalability.
- Experience deploying AWS services using CLI tools.
- Strong understanding of unit and integration testing principles, preferably with pytest.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
