Position Summary:
As a AWS Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining full stack solutions for both customer-facing and internal applications. The company is a startup financial services firm with $1 billion in assets under management. The company will be launching numerous unique financial services and is looking for a highly motivated and skilled AWS/.Net developer to ensure we develop quality products. You will use your expert knowledge in all application tiers to support bleeding edge cloud applications. This position requires an individual who is passionate about all layers of development and keeps up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Essential Functions
- Understanding story requirements, creating required tasks, and implementing solutions or fixes as required.
- Production issue identification and resolution for both customer-facing and internal applications.
- Trace and remediate issues with system integrations.
- Follow company-wide programming standards and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams including product management, project management, DevOps, and production support, among others.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
- Detail-oriented and passionate about working with cutting edge cloud applications.
- Experience in working with AWS development including UI, Lambda functions, REST API services, cloud databases, and CI/CD processes
- Comfortable utilizing code repositories such as Git and Bitbucket
- Comfortable coordinating tasks with all levels of colleagues
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience with AWS development
- 3 years’ experience with cloud databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora, MongoDB, SQL Server)
- 3 year REST webservice or Lambda services experience
- 3 years C# or Java development
- 3 years’ experience with UI frameworks such as React.js, Redux, Saga, Angular, Vue, Ember, etc. preferred
- Technical degree or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
