Under the supervision of the Director of Counseling Services, the Counseling Lead is responsible for clinical oversight of client care, and direct supervision of the therapy team, as it relates to the delivery of therapy services including the therapy referral, assessment and service planning processes. Responsible for providing ongoing training, support, and education to their team. Performs clinical services including assessment, service plan development, case coordination, counseling, reviews and signs clinical documents as a Behavioral Health Professional, and acts as a clinical consultant to treatment team as directed; serves as a team member in the provision of services in accordance to a client's individual treatment plan that results in a positive behavioral change.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters degree from an accredited college in a behavioral health field plus one (1) year experience providing behavioral health services (i.e., assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of an individuals behavioral health issue) in an agency, to an individual or in a field related to behavioral health. Licensed in an appropriate discipline (counseling, social work, or substance abuse) by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
