Overview:

We are seeking an assistant brewer to join our team. This is an entry level position with opportunity to progress to a brewer for the right candidate. As an assistant brewer, you will be responsible for assisting in the production and packaging of our high-quality craft beer. This is an unique entry-level opportunity in a dynamic and growing industry.

Duties:

- Assist in all aspects of the brewing process

- Monitor fermentation temperatures and times

- Receive and manage raw ingredient inventory

- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment and tanks

- Operate packaging machinery to fill, label and package cans and bottles

- Maintain accurate records of brewing activities and inventory levels

- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

- Passion for beer and the brewing process

- Aptitude for basic chemistry and biology

- Previous experience in brewing or a related field is preferred

- Knowledge of brewing techniques, equipment, and ingredients a plus

- Familiarity with HACCP and food safety regulations

- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic maintenance procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Must be able to work on your feet for prolonged periods, climb ladders, crouch, lift 50 pounds, work in cold, hot, and wet conditions.
