Cooper Steel is Hiring a Graphic Designer Near Nashville, TN
POSITION SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer plays a pivotal role in creating and implementing brand standards across the company. This role will require collaborating with internal and external teams, and the focus will be developing creative ideas and consistently promoting an authentic culture that represents Cooper Steel.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Promote a strong quality culture throughout the company maintaining Cooper Steel’s core priorities: Safety, Quality, Production
- Design and produce various high-level print and digital marketing materials including promotional graphics, signage, booklets and proposal layouts, social media designs, emails, web assets, etc.
- Manage the branding identity of the company, ensuring all internal and external content is consistent and recognizable.
- Collaborate across department teams to understand brand objectives and incorporate them into compelling design solutions.
- Contribute to content planning and strategy of marketing efforts in collaboration with the marketing department and overall company goals.
- Maintain a detail-oriented eye, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all designs produced.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to assist with other projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5-years of experience in a graphic design role managing multiple design projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or similar preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office.
Video editing skills are a plus, using Adobe Premier and Adobe Rush.
Experience utilizing email marketing platforms, social media platforms and other digital marketing tools to implement a variety of digital marketing efforts
OTHER SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals; good judgment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; confidentiality and professionalism; outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills; computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint; highly developed organizational, planning and oral and written communication skills; ability to work well with others.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Position is in a typical office setting that involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions.
