OVERVIEW

COOL RUNNINGS COURIER SERVICES is pleased to submit this opportunity for services to support our client’s needs in achieving its goals for improving customer satisfaction by providing efficient and effective transportation support for its content delivery needs. We hope to partner with dozens of small businesses throughout the Southern United States committed to improving the customer experience through convenience, accuracy of requests, and timely delivery.

Our clients have a well-deserved reputation for quality customer service. They are faced with changes in distribution systems, economic impacts to transportation and logistics, and limitations that prevent taking full advantage of improvements in technology.

COOL RUNNINGS COURIER SERVICES has been tasked with assisting our clients with their changes and improve efficiency which will help reduce costs.

Employment

• Contract Driver (1099-MISC, Solo)
• We only want you to drive when you want to
• Drivers are their own business that we are subcontracting to work for us.
• COOL RUNNINGS does NOT classify as the driver’s employer
• COOL RUNNINGS is the driver’s customer
• Schedule of availability on call status
• Required to answer once contacted but not required to accept assignment
• Trips may be: Known in advance, Last minute, Scheduled – Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, As needed, Nights, weekends, and Holidays, HOT (time sensitive and cannot be delayed in any way)

Driver Responsibilities:

• Complete Trips/Runs in a timely and safe manner.
• If run is accepted, MUST always remain in contact with Dispatcher or Owner.
• Ensure safe and expedient transportation.
• Driver Safety Comes First.
• Not required to speed.
• NOT AUTHORIZED to make decision involving issues concerning samples.
• MUST Communicate with dispatcher about delays that are greater than 30 minutes.
• Execution and Time Expectations: Unless otherwise agreed, 15 minutes from acceptance of assignment plus travel time.
• Must be able to use GPS (preferably Google Maps), smartphone, camera on phone, and text message on your phone.
• There is NO RETRIBUTION for unavailability, however, UNAVAILABILITY must be made known ASAP.

Qualifications:

• READ and UNDERSTAND all communications sent to you.
• Must provide own fuel efficient & reliable means of transportation
• Valid Vehicle Insurance
• Valid Citizenship
• Pass drug test going back 2 months
• Pass pre-employment screening
• Provide own smartphone
• Direct deposit capabilities
• Have or be able to get a Venmo account for quick pay options
• Able to complete on-boarding training and paperwork

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
