General Laborer - Construction
Description:
The ideal Construction Employee works with keen attention to detail and quality of workmanship. They have good hand-to-eye coordination and are proficient at using hand and power tools. The Construction Employee maintains a safe working environment both for themselves and co-workers.
Required Job Skills:
- The Construction employee must have the ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. standing for long periods of time, moderate to heavy lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, reaching, and climbing).
- Previous proven construction/carpentry/brazing skills of 1 years.
- Previous experience working with multiple materials including wood, metal, etc.
- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials, techniques and methods of installation.
- Follow Supervisor’s instructions to perform manual labor tasks and quality work.
- Willingness to learn and grow with Leonard.
- A strong self-motivation to work on projects with minimal supervision.
- A team player.
Construction Plant Employees are responsible for:
- Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed.
- Cutting lumber, metal, and other material according to measurements.
- Layout floorings and roofing, ensuring they are leveled and compatible.
- Build window frames, doors, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
- Inspect product along assembly lines and finished to ensure the quality of work.
- Maintain Supervisor assigned workload.
