Responsible for providing high-quality service to hospital clients, physicians and staff in a high-stress environment. Client contact can be over the phone or through e-mail or fax. Duties include communicating test results over the telephone to authorized receivers, resolving specimen problems identified upon receipt and those identified in the laboratory, obtaining additional information at the laboratorys request to complete testing, canceling tests, investigating new or unusual test requests, and following up with client requests and issues. Additional duties may include obtaining billing information to provide for clean billing claims, and researching billing complaints or issues. Qualifications:
Proof of high school or equivalent or higher education
Previous experience with CRMC electronic information systems and supporting software resources required.
Previous customer service experience is preferred.
Lab Assistant 2 status preferred
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Previous experience with Microsoft Office is preferred
Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
