Automation Engineer - Selenium / Java

ConvergePoint is currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the team and help build our market-facing B2B SaaS regulatory compliance software products. You will be responsible for building state-of-the-art solutions on Microsoft Office 365 SPFx, Microsoft Azure, Al, Machine Learning and Bot technologies. Your goal is to ensure that our customers have the best experience and that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify scenarios for Automation based on feasibility, priority, and coverage.
• Create and enhance Automation framework based on Selenium WebDriver, Java, Rest-Assured, Cucumber, Maven, and TestNG.
• Create stable, scalable, modular, reusable, and reliable automated tests using industry best practices and coding standards.
• Implement and maintain Automation Pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot failures daily and fix automation issues.
• Track and Report Automation KPIs such as Test Coverage, Flaky test ratio, Test Run Efficiency etc.
• Research and implement new automation innovations to improve automation coverage and Run efficiency.

Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in computer engineering or a master's degree in computing.
• 3-5 years of experience working as a QA Automation engineer.
• Experience in developing automated test cases in Java and Typescript.
• Experience and Sound knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Experience in working on API Automation using Rest-Assured or Cypress/Playwright.
• Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate efficiently both ideas and specific details to various stakeholders including team members, senior leadership, and the US implementation [support team.
• Excellent prioritization skills with attention to detail

Nice to have:

• Experience working with the Playwright Automation framework.
• Experience in Performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Experience in working with AI-based Test case generators or self-healing tests.
• Knowledge of SharePoint is an advantage.
