Overview:
As an accounting specialist, you’ll be crucial in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring compliance. As an integral part of our finance department, you’ll handle various accounting tasks with precision and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online.
2. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial data.
4. Prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
5. Assist in preparing tax returns and compliance with relevant regulations.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.
7. Handle inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
8. Stay updated on accounting principles and industry trends.
9. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
3. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
