Contractors Supply & Equipment Co is Hiring a Counter Sales Representative Near La Place, LA
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with a focus on providing exceptional assistance to our customers.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products
- Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register and/or credit card machine
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and warehouse
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively - transfer goods in/out from other location
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Coordinate daily shipments on our trucks
- Answer phones & assist call in customers
- Data entry - enter customer tickets
- work closely with yard & warehouse personnel
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
Qualifications:
- General knowledge of concrete construction helpful
- Ability to read blueprints helpful
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and sales processes efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus for better customer & yard emplyee communication
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers
