About the Position:
The Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing employee benefits programs. This role works within a team to assist in the administration of employee benefit plans for many clients and employees across multiple states. This includes ensuring accurate and timely administration of various benefits such as health, dental, and ancillary benefits. The Benefit Coordinator serves as a point of contact of Continuum Advantage, for employees, HR personnel, and external vendors regarding benefits-related inquiries and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Program Administration: Implement and maintain employee benefits programs by managing enrollment, termination, and modification processes, collaborating with vendors and negotiating contracts.
  • Communication and Education: Communicate benefit plan details, updates, and changes, providing guidance to employees on benefit options and claims procedures.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports for program monitoring.
  • Compliance and Legal Requirements: Stay informed on regulations and ensure plan compliance; assist with audits and investigations.
  • Support and Issue Resolution: Respond to employee inquiries and provide support, while collaborating with HR during life events and assist with claims processing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5 years of outsourced/PEO benefit administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of benefits policies and regulations
  • Familiarity with HR software systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
