Pay range: $90,000/Year Bonus

Position Description

We are looking for a Sales Estimator to join the Sales team. As a key member of the Business Development team, the Sales Estimator will report to the Commercial Sales Manager.

The Sales Estimator’s role will create new as well as strengthen existing client relationships that increase the revenue and profitability of the company by providing detailed proposals including cost and labor estimates. The Sales Estimator will leverage their industry experience and knowledge to sell proposals to the client, ensuring customer satisfaction every step of the way.

Position Key Criteria/Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience with customer-facing sales (Face to Face, phone & email).
  • 1 years’ experience with window treatment products or demonstrated ability to learn the product quickly.
  • 1 years’ of construction experience-construction documents & related processes
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably with a focus on commercial projects.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Bluebeam CRM & Project Management Software.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional Negotiation/ Budget

Position Measurable Accountabilities

  • Meets or exceeds sales volume to support the department's annual sales target (target to be issued annually).
  • Meet or exceed 40% close rate goal.
  • Meets or exceeds department GPM goal (goal to be issued quarterly).
  • Meets or exceeds call log expectations as outlined in call log criteria document.
  • Provide detailed and accurate descriptions of proposals with clear qualifications.
  • Follow Contexture job handoff procedure with 100% accuracy.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy on pricing and scope based up to date construction documents.
  • Review all pertinent contract sections for 100% accuracy.
  • Review all pertinent submittal sections for 100% accuracy.
  • Attend job kickoffs and scope reviews where applicable.
  • Escalate sales issues within 24 hours to the Commercial Sales/Service Manager.
  • 24-hour response time to internal/external customer requests.
