Position Description

We are looking for an Install Manager to join the Tennessee Operations team. As a key Operations team member, the Install Manager will report to the Director of Operations. 

As the Install Manager, you will be responsible and vital to the overall success of the TN Install Team. Hiring and training installers, scheduling installations and ensuring quality standards are being met on job sites are the top priority of this position. This position requires hands-on training, the ability to develop efficiency within crews (written and in-person), the ability to foster a solution-oriented mindset among the team, and the use of specific training systems to grow brand-new employees into great installers. The ideal candidate has teaching/training/team-building experience in the construction industry.

Position Key Criteria/Requirements

• 5 years’ experience with product installation and service of construction specialties

• 5 years’ experience managing a team of at least 2 people; experience hiring and managing performance
• 2 years’ experience with budget management
• Experience implementing, and maintaining SOPs
• Experience maintaining inventory control systems
• within 3 months of hire
• Clean driving record, able to get a medical DOT card
• OSHA 30 certification within 3 months of hire
• Able to work flexible hours; early starts, late finishes, weekends based on active project schedules

Position Measurable Accountabilities

• Hire, develop, and manage the subordinate installers responsible for project tasks like installing, servicing, and repairing window treatments, fabric panels, and stretch ceilings.
• Oversee a system of tool management and tool tracking on all fleet vehicles
• Maintain, implement and update onsite and warehouse safety guidelines
• Manage and maintain warehouse security systems, daily monitoring; 100% operational.
• Create and manage schedules ensuring that jobs are accurately and adequately staffed

Position Key Technical Competencies

• Microsoft Office Suite  (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Knowledge of and able to effectively use power and hand tools
• Knowledge of warehouse hazards and experience implementing safety protocols
• Ability to understand and interpret construction documents and schedules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
