Job Summary

Performs routine inspections and maintenance of facilities and equipment. 

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Manages routine inspections of premises and equipment.
   1. Inspects fire and burglary alarm systems and schedules repairs when needed.
   2. Performs routine inspection on buildings and facilities and schedules third party maintenance when needed.
2. Performs routine maintenance on equipment and facilities.
   1. Tests and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical equipment; repairs as needed.
   2. Provides general and detailed maintenance including patching, painting, hardware repairs and other repairs as required.
   3. Documents and tracks issues in the ticket software system.
   4. Orders supplies needed to perform maintenance and repairs and maintains purchase records within authorized budget.
3. Provides support for equipment needs.
   1. Assembles and installs office furniture and equipment.
   2. Assists with moving office furniture and equipment.
   3. Assists with facility needs for special events.
4. Oversees contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
   1. Assists with structural pest control measures.
   2. Assists with contracted maintenance and repairs.
5. Completes quarterly vehicle maintenance and inspections.
   1. Coordinates inspection dates with staff.
   2. Documents, tracks and notifies supervisor of inspection findings.
   3. Offers service options to staff when issues are identified.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience with building and equipment maintenance and minor repair work. Current, unrestricted Driver License issued by the State of North Carolina.
